Sometime before World Cup 2014, Stu Horvath and I sat in a bar and he told me about his newest kickstarter for
Unwinnable.com and how he was looking for people to donate rewards. I haphazardly suggested I would do a theme song for contributors.
I didn't want to do simple paint by numbers songs, so I started out by coming up with a questionnaire of some random questions. It served two purposes, first it disarmed people a bit and secondly it also let me gauge what style of music people envisioned when presented with particular scenes from movies. Questions like “You’ve just robbed a bank to the tune of 35,000, which lies in a duffle bag you hastily threw into the back seat. You’re driving like mad, but glance over to the passenger seat. What do you see there?“ I expected some good answers, but I was blown away by how clever and funny everyone was.
Fast forward to sometime after World Cup 2014, as I sat alone in my dark studio staring crazed at my laptop trying to figure out exactly how does someone write a theme in the style of Mortal Kombat.
So here you go, a theme song written just for you by a guy you never met and who also, for some of you, lives half way around the world.
I really hope you like listening to them because I loved making them.

P.S. if you don’t like your theme feel free to just grab someone else’s and change it’s name.
